Frequently asked questions

Who can use My PRM Parking Place?

As My PRM Parking Place is accessible via a web address and does not require a user account, technically anyone who knows the address can access it. However, as PRM spaces are reserved for people with a Disability Card or Mobility Inclusion Card, the MaPlacePMR website is of no interest to users who do not have one.

Are PRM parking places physically locked?

No, there is no physical barrier or lock on disabled parking spots, but some are marked out at the front and/or rear by posts.

What should you do if a PRM parking space is occupied by an unauthorised vehicle?

If you believe that a vehicle is illegally occupying a PRM place, please report it to us using the incident report form available at each space. This feedback is essential for us. It allows us to assess the proper use of PRM place and take the necessary measures if required.

Can I reserve a place?

This feature is not currently available on My PRM Parking Place.

How reliable is the real-time status displayed?

Real-time status (availability) is obtained using image analysis sensors. The ability of these sensors to provide accurate information has been deemed satisfactory for user access and is constantly improving. However, 100% reliability cannot be expected at this stage. Please report any specific issues using the incident report form.

Do public car parks appear in My PRM Parking Place?

Yes. Every public car park in the Principality is shown on the map and indicates the total number of reserved PRM places it contains. However, real-time availability is not displayed for spaces located in underground car parks. Only PRM spaces located on public roads have real-time availability status.
